The explanations are clear and comprehensive.. I just started this book and already after two weeks I can remember all the notes of the first exercises up to 21. I can read maintainent with confidence - not very fast but acceptable. I start playing the accordion 3 months ago and it was the first time in my life (67 years) that I try to play a musical instrument or to read music. I love it, this is the product I was looking for, it is really very well done, what happiness, I recommend it. My 5 year old son and a half has just started the piano and his teacher made us buy this book for music theory. It is a very good book for children quite young, very playful with a system of stickers and coloring. Learning the notes becomes a real pleasure!!! A music book that did the job. Packages received without delay.. IN fact, we do discover that inside, as the book is only for those who have a harmonica diatonic in c. There is explicitly written that if one uses a different type of harmonica, such as the chromatic (which is my case), you will not be able to follow the lessons. This is true and it is a pity. The editor should have had the honesty to announce in the 4th cover. My 4-year old son likes to listen a lot to this story/opera, and particularly before his nap. Well suited to children, even young people... nice item; my daughter, who is 3 1/2 has understood the principle but couldn't keep the good position of the hands. it will make better use of it in a few months. From my side this has allowed me to learn the partitions before it. Probably a very good book for those who know a little bit about the solfege, or not me. a pity that this is not indicated on the sale.
